Fill PDF forms in Claude
Emboss runs inside Claude as a connector. Once you connect it, Claude can call Emboss to detect the fields in a PDF, fill them from what you give it, and hand you back a finished document, all without leaving the chat.
Make a flat PDF fillable
Attach a scanned or flat PDF and ask Claude to make it fillable. Emboss detects the text boxes, checkboxes, and signature lines and returns a fillable PDF plus the list of fields it found, ready to send on or fill in the next step.
Fill a form from notes or documents
Give Claude the form and the material that holds the answers, a referral letter, an intake email, last year's application, and ask it to fill the form. Emboss reads the answers out of the material, fills the matching fields, and reports what it could not find so you only type the gaps.
Fill one form for every row of a spreadsheet
Point Claude at a form and a CSV. Emboss proposes a column to field mapping, you confirm it, and it returns one filled PDF per row plus a zip of all of them.
What Claude can see
Emboss receives only the arguments of each tool call. Your conversation stays in Claude. Every operation is billed to your Emboss account at the usual per-form rate, with the same free monthly allowance as the web app, and you can disconnect at any time from your dashboard.
Getting connected
Use the Connect Emboss to Claude button on the Claude guide, or install the plugin in Claude Code. The integration page lists every tool Claude can call.
