How it works

- What file types can I upload?
- Your form must be a PDF (up to 10 MB). Context documents can be PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG, JPG, or TXT — up to five files alongside your form.
- Is it free to try?
- Yes. Every account includes a monthly free allowance, so your first fills cost nothing. Past the free tier, pricing is usage-based per form — no subscription.
- What happens to my files?
- Your documents are used only to fill your form — never sold, and our AI providers aren't permitted to train on them. Filled forms stay in your account until you delete them.
- Do I get a fillable PDF or a flattened one?
- Both filled and still editable: Emboss returns a fillable PDF with your values in place, so you can review and adjust any field before sending it on.
- Does it work on scanned or flat PDFs?
- Yes. Emboss detects fields on flat PDFs that have no form fields at all — including scans — then creates the fillable fields and fills them from your documents.
