# Use Emboss in Gemini Enterprise

A company admin adds Emboss to Gemini Enterprise once, as an agent. After that, anyone in the
company can ask Gemini to make a PDF fillable, fill a form from their notes or documents, fill one
copy per spreadsheet row, read a filled form back, or fax a finished PDF. Each person signs in
with their own Emboss account the first time they use it.

## Before you start

- Gemini Enterprise Standard, Plus, pay-as-you-go or Frontline. The Business edition does not take
  outside agents, at the time of writing.
- The Gemini Enterprise Admin role in Google Cloud.

## 1. Get a sign-in client from Emboss

Run this once. It registers your company's Gemini Enterprise with Emboss and returns a
`client_id` and a `client_secret`. The secret is shown only once, so keep it safe.

## 2. Copy the Emboss agent card

Open `https://api.getemboss.ai/.well-known/agent-card.json` and copy the whole JSON.

## 3. Add Emboss in Google Cloud

1. In the Google Cloud console, open **Gemini Enterprise** and choose your app.
2. Open **Agents**, then **Add agents**, and choose **Custom agent via A2A**.
3. Paste the agent card into **Agent card JSON**, then choose **Preview agent details** and
   **Next**.
4. Enter the sign-in details:
   - **Client ID** and **Client secret**: from step 1.
   - **Authorization URI**: `https://api.getemboss.ai/oauth/authorize`
   - **Token URI**: `https://api.getemboss.ai/oauth/token`
   - **Scopes**: `forms:read forms:write`
5. Choose **Finish**.

## Signing in

The first time someone uses Emboss in Gemini Enterprise, they sign in to their Emboss account
and allow it to read and fill their forms. Emboss then works from plain requests, such as "fill
the W-9 from these notes", and asks a question when something is missing. Before sending a fax,
it names the document and the full number and waits for a yes. See

## Billing and privacy

Usage goes on each person's own Emboss account. Free tier: The first 5 form creations, 5 context fills, 5 standard fills, 5 verifications, 5 reads, and 5 packages each month are free when the job is 5 pages or fewer (a context fill counts the form and its documents together); a longer job is charged and does not use a free one. for current rates. Gemini Enterprise signs in with OAuth only; it cannot use Emboss API keys.
Disconnect at any time from **Dashboard**, then **Account**, then **Connected apps**.
